Grandpa's Bad Day.

Back in the late 1960's, Howard Albro Sr. had a cabinet shop on Windsor St. in Jamestown.

He told the story of how he was in there one afternoon, and all of a sudden there was a big Crash and he was hit right in the middle of the back with something, and woke up a couple minutes later, laying half under a bench in the back of the shop!

There was pieces of glass all over him, and he had a terrible backache.

A couple minutes later a man came running into the shop asking if he was alright? He said he guessed so, what in "H" happened anyway?

It turned out, this guy was changing a tire on his car up the hill on English St. and it got away from him, and rolled down the hill, hit the curb in front of the shop, and bounced right through the plate glass window.

Grandpa Albro said that was one of the worst days he'd ever had!
